Sreaming Children

Far off the distance,
A piercing scream.

Close in your heart,
You hear a motherless child.

Can you hear the silence,
The silence of the lambs?

Do you hear the pain its caused,
Taking them away?

The hogs scream,
The chickens cry,
The cows moan in agony.

Mamma hens can no longer speak,
to their chicks that you took.

Daddy cows can no longer hug,
the calves they helped create.

Your taking them away,
your killing them inside.

Far off in the distance,
you hear the squeal of the hog.
Far off int he distance,
you hear the squeal of breakfast.

How appetizing.

I was watching a peta video and you could hear the screaming of the pigs and I couldn't take it. I had to write down my feelings here. I am no way though saying your disgusting or horrible for eating meat in anyway this is just how I feel about it.

I suggest watching this because it's packed full of information. Its not disgusting or over the top its just what inspired me to become a vegetarian. Even if you don't have the desire to become a vegetarian at least educate yourself. Animals ARE NOT stupid.
